Jessica "JJ" Javelet- Varsity Head Coach "JJ" returns to California after working three seasons as an Assistant Coach at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and a head coach in a local field hockey club in Pennsylvania. Before that, she assisted Coach Kari DiGiulio for three seasons at Torrey Pines High School from 2008 and 2010 (during which the Falcons won their last CIF championship). JJ also holds a USA Field Hockey Level II Certification and has been involved with the United States Field Hockey Futures Program since 2004. A decorated player at the University of Louisville, Javelet was a First Team All-American as a senior and earned Big East Offensive Player of the Year and All-Conference First Team honors as well. As a junior, she led NCAA Division I in goals, finding the cage 30 times, and was a finalist for the Honda Award, given to the top female college athlete in 12 different sports. Javelet was also a finalist for the 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year Award. During her collegiate career, she also spent time as a member of the USA Field Hockey U-21 Junior National Team. Off the field, JJ was the University of Louisville's Most Outstanding Graduating Senior and valedictorian for the Class of 2007. She was twice named an Academic First Team All-American; in 2007 she was awarded an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship and was named the Big East's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Javelet graduated from Louisville in 2007 with a degree in marketing. After college, Javelet played for the U.S. National Field Hockey Development Team from 2006 to 2009, and spent the 2009 season with Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany. She also took part in the Women's High Performance National Championship on four different occasions. Javelet also has two Women's Tackle Football Superbowl Rings competing and winning with both the San Diego Surge and Chicago Force organizations. Most recently she was named co- MVP of the national championship game. Javelet is currently training as a member of the USA Women's Rugby Sevens Team. Stephanie Sabraw - Junior Varsity Coach Stephanie graduated from UC Davis in June 2015 and playing
four years of Division One field hockey for the Aggies. She
was selected to the All NorPac Conference team last year and made the scholar
athlete GPA almost every quarter at Davis. Stephanie played three
years of varsity hockey at Torrey Pines and during her sophomore year was
a member of the last Falcons team to win the CIF title. She coached several
of the current varsity players at Carmel Valley Middle School and while
in college coached many of the camps hosted by UC Davis.
